Biathlon Canada is dedicated to supporting women in their ability to develop as coaches and thanks to generous funding from Sport Canada and the International Biathlon Union, we are introducing an Intensive High Performance Coaching Development Program whereby high performance level coaches identifying as women take part in a fully funded week-long coaching experience with Biathlon Canada National Team Coaches and athletes.
Qualified coaches must apply by June 19, 2022 to be a part of this exciting program. Each coach selected will receive the following:
•A fully funded opportunity to shadow national team coaches for 1 week of training with national team athletes (including all travel, accommodations and meals)
•Opportunity to lead 2 training sessions
•Debrief session with national team coaches at the conclusion of the week
•Meeting with IST Lead and team physiologist
•Professional Development points in the Locker
•Biathlon Canada clothing item
•Coach Honorarium
